Want to Accomplish Change in Your Life?
Why is it we can see in others what we cannot see in ourselves? We look at others and see their abilities and their strengths and wish we had some of those same abilities and strengths. We all have role models or people we admire for the things they have done or the way they behave, and there is nothing wrong with admiring others for their accomplishments. We have had many great authors, scientists, teachers, musicians, healers and visionaries of all kinds that we can admire for their contributions to society. When we compare ourselves to others to determine our own self worth, we invalidate ourselves.
What would happen if we looked at ourselves from that same perspective – looking for strengths and abilities – validating our accomplishments?
We look at others to compare strengths and abilities because we have been taught to do that. Maybe your parents compared you to your other siblings saying, “He is the smart one,” or “She is the pretty one.” We are given grades on our work in school compared to the other students’ accomplishments. We are evaluated on our jobs compared to other workers performance. We live in a very competitive society. So we see other peoples’ strengths and abilities very easily.
Each of us has been given strengths and abilities to explore and develop that will assist us in our everyday lives and for our unique self healing. We have everything we need to accomplish whatever we wish, whether it be a physical or a spiritual talent.
You all have your unique strengths and talents to use for yourselves in your creative process. There is no one else like you. You have these particular strengths and abilities because you are unique and you each have your individual goals. Maybe there are some physical things you wish to change – a different job or place to live, or maybe you have a spiritual project you are focused on like increasing your faith.
You can develop your clairvoyance to see the changes that you wish to make.
You can use the techniques we teach to help focus your attention back on yourself and allow your spiritual perspective. You can use grounding to release anything that interferes with you seeing what your strengths and abilities are. You can release anything that keeps you from validating those strengths and abilities, and you don’t have to know what those things are to release them. You can meditate each day to receive guidance and assistance to make the changes that you wish to make.
As each of us develop our strengths and abilities we are not only giving to ourselves but we are giving to each other. Because we are all part of a Cosmic whole, we all benefit from the growth and change that each one of us makes. We all become stronger and more able, and we make an impact on the world around us, just like the people we admire.
