Rebirth

Some of you reading this are new to CDM. Perhaps this is the first time you have visited this website, and if so, WELCOME! Others may have visited CDM’s site multiple times, and have participated in classes and events, like I have. Regardless of your previous involvements, you are spirit. And I’m so happy to know that I am spirit too! We are all spiritual beings with physical bodies. We are not our bodies. We are spirit.

Recently I attended an inspiring and educational meditation facilitated by CDM founder, author and teacher, Mary Ellen Flora. The guided group meditation was on Easter Sunday, and accurately titled, “Rebirth.” It was fun and enlightening, and helped further validate the truth, that we are all spirit.

During the meditation we were gently guided through a series of easy-to-use visualization techniques to help us be more grounded, centered, and release unwanted energies. It was a true personal growth experience, full of cleansing, learning, and self-reflection. I created a lot of change during the event. I liked how it was shared that when we use the techniques that CDM teaches, we create change, and are thus, “reborn.” I love that!

The guided meditation presented information to help gain a clearer, spiritual, more neutral perspective of the significance of Jesus, and the Easter Story. It was amazing, and so full of substantial, meaningful content! The unique insights fully resonated with me.

Yes, Jesus was, and is, a spiritual being, and a part of God. But so are we! Like all of us, Jesus was not just his body. Jesus was a spiritual being with a body. Then in a major rebirth experience, permanently left his physical body and continued as spirit, the spiritual being that he is. Jesus continues to help us, being available as spirit for guidance, validation, and whatever help and support we need. During our meditation, we experienced Jesus’ support and availability as we each had personal communication time with him, as spirit. Jesus is accessible to all of us, and our communication with him is not limited by any physical concepts, such as time and space.

I left the session wiser, fully energized, and motivated. It validated and encouraged me to be my unique self. I love the awareness that each time I ground and practice the other spiritual techniques, I am reborn. Previously, “reborn,” when used in any spiritual or religious context, has seemed like such a heavy, serious term. One lacking in amusement and fun, that I really wasn’t comfortable with. After today, with my fresh perspective, I have more ownership of the word. My “reborn” neutral awareness is helping me to move forward in celebration. Jesus led the way, as spirit, demonstrating rebirth. He taught that each of us has the capability, as spirit, to follow, and be reborn at any time. Anytime, and anywhere! Isn’t that powerful?!

Not only am I grateful to have had the opportunity to attend, but I want to encourage you to participate in future CDM meditations. They are so helpful and beneficial! If you feel stuck and want to make a change, practice the spiritual techniques that CDM teaches. They can help you get un-stuck, make change, and be reborn. Anytime, and anywhere.
