Help, I’m Drowning
“Help I’m drowning in other people’s problems!” This is often the cry of healers of all sorts whether you are a Mom, Dad, caregiver, nurse, doctor, masseuse, counselor, chiropractor, friend, etc. If you ever feel this way, you definitely need to meditate.
When trying to help others you often absorb the emotions of the other person. These foreign emotions disturb your body because those emotions belong to someone else and your body gets confused. You are not afraid – why are you feeling fear? You just absorbed someone else’s emotion!
