Courage

Validation is the act of acknowledging what is true. The truth about courage is that, if you are reading this, then you have PLENTY. It isn’t blocked or functioning at a low level – it is right out there on display. Lots of it – now and in the past.

You have a body. Being in a body right now – a body that is functioning at a higher energetic vibration than those around you – is an act of physical courage. You are different and people notice; sometimes they don’t react well.

You have likely faced more than one scary physical challenge in the past – situations you moved through and survived. You may have been frightened down to the bone, but you continued – that took courage.

Another marker of your courage is the commitment you have to an internal focus – to your own healing. To looking at yourself and clearing out the gunk as you find it. Facing the hate and anger and fear and trauma head on so you can process and release it. Then taking a deep breath, a pause, and diving in for more.

Having an internal focus is not for wimps; it takes courage.

Finally, the willingness to share your spiritual information – even in a small way – takes courage. It marks you as different which can be a scary thing. It requires that you look at your own fears of being exposed and vulnerable and then stepping forward anyway.

Moving forward on your spiritual path can take you in many strange, wonderful and, yes, scary directions. Not bad directions – just scary. Continuing forward, with even just a glimmer of where you are headed can be flat out terrifying and it takes courage.

I’ve found that recognizing my own bravery makes facing my hate and anger and fear and trauma head on just a bit easier.
