Lives Dedicated to Spiritual Awakening
Mary Ellen Flora: Founder, Teacher & Author
“I love what I do. It does not matter if I am writing, teaching, healing, exercising, cooking, or doing administrative work, to me everything is part of the same fabric.”
Spiritual teacher, author, healer and clairvoyant, Mary Ellen Flora has been sharing her insight on spirituality since 1976. Mary Ellen is an advocate of the use of daily meditation and has taught thousands of people to enrich their lives by using the spiritual techniques presented in her classes, books and audio offerings. She believes that we are all meant to be fully awake and alive, both spiritually and physically, and shares this belief with amusement, neutrality, and love.
Mary Ellen is not what one would expect from a spiritual teacher. She laughs a lot, revels in nature, and loves life. She has traveled around the world and lived in a variety of places which has broadened her view of life. Her commitment to and embodiment of the spiritual techniques she teaches is inspiring and life-changing to experience.
If you are seeking spiritual information with a lighter, brighter presentation, Mary Ellen is a delightful teacher. Many of her students are scattered around the world helping to share this spiritual information.
Pamela Lynn, Lead Minister/Presiding Minister Associate
Pamela has been a spiritual teacher for over 20 years. She learned about CDM when she was referred by a friend to get a Clairvoyant reading. The reading was so impactful, Pamela was excited to learn the spiritual techniques and went on to take classes so she could teach. Pamela integrated the spiritual techniques into her daily life and they have assisted her greatly in all of her jobs and community work. People say she has the knack of making the spiritual techniques relatable and a fun experience.
Pamela’s additional experience
Pamela has worked in various leadership positions in healthcare for 30 years and owned a management consulting business. The main themes through her career have been teaching and healing in whatever role she had. She also enjoys hiking, snowshoeing and being outdoors in nature.
Mark Petersen, Spiritual Teacher
Mark first learned the spiritual techniques taught at CDM nearly 40 years ago. When he first experienced himself as spirit he was instantly enamored with using the techniques through regular meditation and in daily life experiences. Mark has always had great enthusiasm for sharing this information with anyone who has an interest in such things. Now he enjoys being able to do that as a meditation teacher here at CDM.
Over the years Mark has received much of the CDM training including two years of the clairvoyant program and the Teacher Training. He has been an active member of CDM, including being on staff as well as being a Board member at various times.
“I love using the spiritual techniques and having the CDM community and organization as a place to practice and validate them with old friends and new acquaintances alike.”
Mark had a 30-year career in residential construction in the Pacific Northwest and still enjoys designing and building things. He enjoys walking, skiing, and golfing to name a few of his favorite pastimes.
Kim Asher, Administrative Assistant
Kim is one of our newest members at CDM. She started working at CDM in September of 2023 and since then has taken the Meditation I Class and Healing I Class. She is enjoying her new meditation skills and plans on taking more classes soon.
Kim worked as a Conductor/Brakeman/Switchman for BNSF Railway for ten years. When she and her husband started a business of their own, she became a stay-at-home mom to raise her incredibly bright and courageous three boys. When the Covid shutdown happened, like most, she was looking for something more in her life. She became more aware of meditation and the healing powers it has.
“I love what CDM offers! It has brought me peace, perspective, and purpose to my life. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with such amazing people.”
“CDM has become a great deal more than just a school to me. Having used the two years I’ve been involved to change and heal, I’ve found myself approaching my entire life differently. A church is no longer a place of rules and guilt, but a symbol of amusement, community, fun, and healing. Using the techniques enables me to make the changes I want and puts me in charge of my own life.”
