Cosmic Energy: The Creative Power and Other Literary Gems
I have all of author Mary Ellen Flora’s books and love having them available to read whenever I want. They are a great resource, with meaningful insights and encouraging words for all humans, us spirits with bodies here on earth. They are inspiring, interesting, and exciting to read, presenting answers to life’s seemingly unanswerable questions. As well as providing information on subjects you may not even have been aware existed, giving answers to questions you didn’t know you had! They are spiritual textbooks, with relatable stories and examples, along with validation of correlating scientific facts. While the material is substantial, the information is easily accessible. It is shared in a neutral way, allowing the topics to be comfortably received and reflected on. Because it stimulates significant growth, I find it helpful to take breaks to meditate when reading Flora’s books. By sitting quietly, validating my body’s emotional responses, and allowing it time and space to rest and reflect, helps the accompanying learning process. Guided meditation exercises are included in the books to help further with this.
These spiritually focused books are helpful when I am stuck and need to shift a perspective and change my mindset, or want an uplifting message to brighten my day. I also love them just because. They are beautiful, powerful, unique pieces of literature that hold truths that are not often acknowledged here on earth. I really enjoy reading them! And I’m someone that hasn’t always liked reading, due to previous challenges with my ability to focus and concentrate. On a side note, using the meditation techniques shared in these books have helped me with that too!
Typically, I do not read non-fiction books cover to cover. I use them more like reference books. If there is a chapter I am interested in, I will read it, and go from there. In addition to this being a helpful method for research, it’s a style I adopted when I was younger due to my challenges with reading. It allowed me to avoid fully completing reading assignments, and still get by in school. Along with using this habitual approach, I often read Flora’s books, like how I read the bible. I open the book and read wherever my eyes land. It’s a fun way to do it, and is always a healing experience, providing me with beneficial information.
Obviously, an author writes and assembles their book in a particular order so that it flows well. So, if this is your first time reading these books, please keep in mind that the information in the chapters build on each other, helping with readers’ comprehension of the material. These books will provide you with invaluable knowledge, far beyond what you can intellectually imagine. They share and educate openly, including teaching useful meditation techniques for your personal practice, energy work, and everyday life. All is presented, and intended, to assist and support the reader, as it has for me in my life.
It had been a while since I had read Flora’s book, Cosmic Energy: The Creative Power, when I recently picked it up for a brief read. However, after that initial reintroduction, I kept coming back to it and reading and reading it, until I was certain that all chapters had been read. Because wow! Such an incredible wealth of information, that absolutely blew me away.
The day I picked up the cosmic energy book, I was in awe of what I was reading. As someone that has enjoyed having all the books as “go to” resources since they were first published, I was amused at my surprise. In addition to the books being part of my personal library, I have been practicing the CDM meditation techniques for years. Yet it seemed like I had never learned some of the things I was reading about. Have you ever watched a movie more than once? I have! When watching it the second time I notice things I wasn’t aware of during my first viewing. Reading these books is like that, but to a much greater extent. At least for me. I believe that as we grow and change, we bring that new level of awareness to our next read, so that’s what I was experiencing. It’s just a bit bizarre for it to seem like such new information when I have read these same pages before. Odd and amusing, but also exciting and awesome! It’s like reading a new book every time!
I’ve been having a lot of fun with my cosmic energy since gaining new insights and focusing more of my attention on it. I’m happy to have the opportunity to share my beneficial experiences from reading the cosmic energy book. I enjoyed it so much, that after moving randomly around and through the different sections, I have started reading it again, but want to be more thorough this time. So, I began on page one and have been moving forward. I’m now over 30 pages in, and loving it! Rereading it is helping me to further assimilate the information, while validating myself, and my knowledge and awareness. This has been, and is, a fulfilling experience once again!
While loving the cosmic energy book as I do, it is important to me to add that I highly recommend starting with a different, amazing book of knowledge, Meditation: Key to Spiritual Awakening by Mary Ellen Flora. Especially if you are new to CDM and its teachings. While meditation is discussed in all her books, the author wrote her book on meditation first. I believe with the intention that it also be read first. Flora’s meditation book is phenomenal, and will give you the tools to build a strong foundation, as well as the information that can help you to better understand her later books, including Cosmic Energy: The Creative Power. This includes an important introduction to cosmic energy, as well as earth energy, and other foundational information and techniques.
There is also an eBook version of the meditation book, as well as an accompanying meditation CD and audio download. Use these to guide you through further learning and practice to help prepare you and your body for the rest of the books and audio material. All of Flora’s writings and recordings are fun, unique, learning adventures, providing so much to reflect on. I have often thought… there is nothing like them on the planet. Because there’s not! They are all such generous gifts to all of us!
Speaking of gifts, I recently gave myself one! Knowing that it had been revised, and updated, I recently purchased the eBook version of Cosmic Energy: The Creative Power. I’m excited to read it next! Just like my current reading experience, this time instead of skipping around to different sections, I plan on reading it cover to cover!
