Meditation – What Are You Waiting For?

By: Sindi Somers

If you are reading this and you have not taken CDM Spiritual Center’s Meditation I class, I ask you, “what are you waiting for?!”

Do you take time to watch TV, scroll through social media posts, and worry about things that might or might not happen? Then you have time to take this class!

Do you spend money on espresso drinks, dining out, and going to movies, plays, concerts, and other events? Then you can afford to take this class!

Do you have a working webcam, an internet connection, and a straight back chair? Then you have what you physically need to take this class!

I am helping you to overcome your own objections to learning to meditate and trying the style of meditation that CDM teaches. There are a lot of forms of meditation available. Finding one that resonates with you is important. CDM meditation is different, and perhaps not a method you have tried yet. CDM’s classes are designed for beginners, but those experienced with meditation can also benefit. The techniques that you learn in CDM’s Meditation I class can create a strong, beneficial foundation if you are new to meditating. They can also be added to a practice you already have.

In the Meditation I class you will learn how to be grounded and centered, which helps you to be more in the present moment and lessen your body’s discomfort. You will learn how to release unwanted energies including stress, uncomfortable emotions, and other people’s energy. The class will provide you with tools to change non-beneficial thoughts, habits, and beliefs, and take more conscious charge of your life.

Whether you are completely content or there are changes you want to make, the techniques can help you to live your life more fully. They will help you get to know yourself as spirit, and work more in harmony with your body. These empowering techniques, and the supportive CDM community can provide a path that will help you to accomplish seemingly magical things.

I have had the privilege of taking the Meditation I class and continued further with other classes and programs. But it is the techniques that I learned in Meditation I that I come back to and use every single day. They are my foundation, and they can be yours too.

If it seems that something is missing in your life, maybe it is this. Once you learn these valuable tools, they are yours. You can use them anywhere and anytime to assist you to live your life with more ease and grace, creating more of what you want, and less of what you don’t.

If you have struggled with meditation before, please try this form before giving up. Using the CDM techniques can help with your focus, quieting your mind and lessening distractions. You do need to use them for them to work for you. Of course, to use them, you need to first learn them.

If you have a to do list for the day, please add this to it. “Check out CDM’s Meditation I class, because I deserve it.”
